ARTIST STATEMENT

Bringing walls to life with vivid color, my art wakes up your interior. I work mainly with ac­rylics, painting on stretched canvas and often birch wooden boxes. I love color and most of my art has a bright, happy feeling about it. My pieces are whimsical, a bit folk with a dash of pop. I also enjoy a minimal / contemporary look to my designs. I think you'll find my art has a sense of playfulness.

BIOGRAPHY

Jen graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. degree in 1992. She spent a decade in mar­keting and advertising, but all the while creating art at home. She has always had an intense passion for color and design. Coming from a family that fostered creativity, she has been painting on canvas and textiles since she was 16. Her work is now collected inter­nation­ally. In Omaha, it is sold at Dundee Gallery.
