BIOGRAPHY

Jan Poulson’s contemporary landscapes are inspired by the brilliant colors of nature which are enhanced by the magic light at dusk and dawn. To Jan creating art is as soothing to her soul as taking a deep breath on a cool mountain morning. Her intention is to have that feeling emanate from her work.

Born and raised in Wyoming, she is an outdoor en­thus­iast with a deep rooted love for trees and mount­ains. She married over 30-years ago, moved to an Iowa Ranch near Sioux City where she has raised two kids, dogs, cats, horses and cows. She has been in the ad­ver­tising business for 30-years and has owned her own agency for 20.
